The Author , Dr. Arvind Kumar Upadhayaya is Ph.D in Horticulture from G. B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand(India). He is Executive MBA in Rural Management from Institute of Rural Management Anand(IRMA).He is recipient of Gold medal as Best Ph.D thesis Paper Presentation Award from Academy of Plant Sciences , India. He has a Vast experience in field of Marketing , Agribusiness and Natural Resource Management in Watershed Planning and development. He has experience of Post harvest technology in highly perishable Strawberry Crop and worked for it in Ahmednagar district Maharashtra(India). He has experience of Litchi Production Technology and Worked for it in Dehradun district ,Uttarakhand(India).He has twice been nominated from Indian Council of Agriculture Research(ICAR),New Delhi; first as a ICAR nominee from Tripura Govt. for Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Agriculture and again he got ICAR nomination for Pursuing his Masters degree Program in Agriculture. He has also been linked with Litchi Export Zone for Export Oriented Litchi Production. Currently he is working as Project Team Leader /Resident Consultant for World bank funded project inĀ  World Vegetable Centre, South Asia/Central Asia, ICRISAT,Hyderabad ,Telangana, INDIA
