Vermicomposting – A way to sustainable agriculture

Worms are the best friends of the agricultural field .Earthworms  are  used in composting by applying easy steps  in pits,  tanks etc. Using this concept, sustainable agriculture can be achieved with the merits of soil restoration.If every village can formulate a  group for producing a vermicompost, it could be a excellent  venture for the farmers group to produce and sell vermicompost  which  will not only earn money, but also help other farmers by providing  organic manure for sustainable agriculture.
